Gayatri is DBERT's AI-powered chat advisor. Before initiating a conversation, Gayatri collects your Full Name, Email Address, and Phone Number. This information is:
- Transmitted securely (HTTPS) to our private AI inference API at
https://api.dbert.online/chat - Used to personalise programme recommendations and follow up on your enquiry
- Stored in our secure internal CRM for lead management purposes
- Never shared with third-party marketing platforms without your explicit consent
Conversation history may be reviewed by our team for quality improvement. By starting a chat, you consent to this data processing and transmission to our AI service.
08 Data Retention
- Enquiry / chat data — 2 years from the date of last interaction
- Enrolled student data — 7 years for tax and compliance records
- Google Analytics data — 14 months (GA4 default retention setting)
- Payment records — 8 years as required under the Income Tax Act, 1961
After the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
09 Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption on all DBERT web properties and sub-domains
- Secure HTTPS API calls to our AWS EC2 AI inference endpoint
- Access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only
- Regular security reviews and dependency updates
While we take every reasonable precaution, no internet transmission is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by applicable Indian law.
10 Your Rights
Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023, you have the right to:
